The marketing for INFINITUM; An Afrofuturist Tale’, is really starting to ramp up.  Thusly, as the release of INFINITUM gets closer to publication by HarperCollins Amistad on January 19th, 2021, we were grateful that CXC allowed my career over the decades to be discussed.  If you ever wanted to see how black cartooning intersects with Black Rock Music, Yoruba religious modalities, and Science Fiction, THIS IS IT!

ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST: Afrofuturism Has Always Looked Forward

Greetings Dieselfunkateers!  The Road to INFINITUM continues as we close in on our release date of January 19, 2021INFINITUM: An Afrofuturist Tale, published by HarperCollins Amistad, is my long sought graphic novel labor of love.  The proofs have been sent out, cover blurbs acquired, cover art finalized, and alas, the book files have been sent to the printer.

As the media ramps up we have been pleasantly surprised in Dieselfunk Studios by a very sweet article in Architectural Digest by wonderful author, Taylor Crumpton.  Check it out HERE.  Also, gotta admit, it’s cool being mentioned in the same light as Sun Ra, Octavia Butler, and Janelle Monáe. COOL INDEED

BACK TO IT!
