Greetings Dieselfunkateers! I shall be attending San Diego Comicon this week.
So fascinating to be at this place in my career with panels and business meetings that are quite fulfilling. Tremendous thanks to Michael Davis of the Black Panel for allowing me to participate when he didn’t have to. Much appreciation to the Great Jeff Smith for the panel and signing I’ll be rocking with him on. And last, but definitely not least, to the always industrious LaWana Richmond for honoring me at the Afrofuturism Lounge. Schedule is as follows:
Location: Room 29AB (Signing after Talk at Cartoon Books Booth #2109)
Description: Bone creator Jeff Smith discusses his new graphic novel series TUKI. Smith will be joined on stage by Tim Fielder, the Afro-futurist author of the graphic novels INFINITUM and Matty’s Rocket. A signing will follow after the panel at Cartoon Books booth #2109.
Greetings Dieselfunkateers! INFINITUM: An Afrofuturist Tale, was given an absolutely stellar review by the prestigious comics journalism site COMICSBEAT. Amazing Times!
Greetings Dieselfunkateers! #RoadtoINFINITUM PROUD to announce our first national review of ‘INFINITUM: An Afrofuturist Tale’ by PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
A quick excerpt:
“Fielder (Matty’s Rocket) digs deep into his pulp toolbox to fuse genre influences in this daring epic, which bristles with action and verve.”
HarperCollins Amistad will be BRINGING THE FIRE January 19, 2021. Dang, I want to read this book to!
